DESCRIPTION: In today’s industrial landscape, safety and sustainability are aspects of high concern. Industries worldwide face the challenge of balancing economic growth with environmental protection and social responsibility. This, however, often leads to unintended consequences such as pollution, resource depletion, and adverse health effects. In this context, the EU-funded ANALYST project addresses the urgent need for transformative solutions. Specifically, it aims to develop innovative approaches that prioritise both safety and sustainability in industrial practices. These innovations inform investment decisions and policymaking, advancing the Safe and Sustainable by Design framework. By fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability trade-offs, ANALYST propels the transition toward inherently safe and sustainable chemicals, materials, and products.

HOLOSS ROLE:

HOLOSS coordinates ANALYST project to ensure efficient execution and alignment with objectives.

HOLOSS creates and facilitates stakeholder and advisory boards to enhance collaboration and strategic decision-making.

HOLOSS develops Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable (FAIR) databases to enhance data usability and transparency.

HOLOSS develops recommendations and optimal practices for linked industries, ensuring alignment with ANALYST's methodologies for chemical safety assessment and regulatory compliance.

HOLOSS provides EU policy recommendations to align projects with sustainability and safety standards.

HOLOSS ensures ethical compliance and gender balance in EU projects, integrating inclusivity and diversity principles.
